The Barcelona New Year Dance Festival is back once again, ready to farewell this 2022 and welcome the new year!

In this 6th Edition, that will be held from December 28 to 31, we will be fortunate to have two outstanding professionals who have been investigating Improvisation, Contemporary Dance and y Contact Improvisation for two decades: Katja Mustonen and Otto Akkanen.

As in previous editions, every afternoon at the end of the workshops, the room will become a jam space open to both Festival participants and the rest of the community of practitioners from Barcelona and its surroundings. In total there will be 3 days of Workshops and Jams followed by the New Year’s Eve Dinner and a party to live the last hours of this year to the fullest and turn over a new leaf in 2023. Simultaneous translation English/Spanish will be provided for both workshops.
