When we hold or touch an object our system is informed and begins to seek connection and relationship with this object. I imagine the nerves crawling up the object to study it, play with it, and make it part of our body. This process, when approached with honesty and playfulness, gives birth to fountains of new information and teaching us something essential about the way we function and interact with this world. It also provides un-edited functional tools to move, to deliver weight, and relate to each other.
Each day we will explore different objects and then dance with partners to integrate these sensations and images into our CI dance.

YANIV MINTZER (Dancer, Musician and ILM-Practitioner)
is dancing and teaching globally for over a decade.
As staff of the Jerusalem Academy of Dance and Music he is teaching CI to amateurs and professionals in Israel and Europe.
Also he is a practitioner and senior-assistant of the Ilan Lev Movement and Bodywork Method (ILM), which is a great source of knowledge to refine and re-learn movement.
