Balance is a phenomenon that we are in search of since we are born, while we are on the floor, sitting, standing and moving. Liquids, structures and tissues in the body move in a constantly changing and re-established balance. 

In this workshop, we will explore the fluid and temporary equilibrium states that we establish with the support of the ground, breath and others with whom we share the space, by practicing the basic principles of Contact Improvisation in duet or ensemble improvisational games.

We will explore themes such as falling into different directions, rising up with the support of the ground, keeping the connection with the earth through our partner while we are off-balance. 

This workshop is open to anyone who are willing to experience the relation with their own body and other bodies in dance. Regardless of age, gender, strength or disability, every body with or without movement experience can freely explore their own movement within this practice.
