South-Central Contact Improvisation Jam

When: Thursdays, 6:45-8:45pm (weekly)

Where: St Martins Rehearsal Room (28 St Martins Lane, South Yarra).
Cost: $7-$10

Entry via the BACK DOOR (which is opposite the carpark, in St Martins Place) - If you are at the Main Door (on St Martins Lane), there is walking access next to the theatre building, to get around the back.

About the South-Central Jam
Contact Improvisation is a highly enjoyable dance form that involves the dynamic interplay of natural forces, such as gravity & momentum, with the communicative ability of touch & contact.

Every jam is a mix of all levels of CI experience - we come and dance 'with the body you have', and learn through our dancing. Every week will include a ‘lead-in’ to dancing, for the first 45 minutes or so; a great way to explore CI for the first time. You can arrive and leave at any time within the 2 hours, but if you’re coming for the lead-in, best to arrive promptly for the start.
