UK Contact Improvisation Teachers Exchange - UKCITE 2019
UK Contact Improvisation Teachers' Exchange is open to any contact improvisation practitioner who wishes to exchange with peers on issues in the teaching and practice of CI.
Mentoring will be available to emerging teachers. There is no selection process for attendance at UKCITE 2019; it is open to practitioners wishing to develop their work through shared research and dialogue. The weekend will feature spaces for labs, working groups, co-teaching proposals, performance, and ample time for jamming. UKCITE 2019 is hosted by the University of Chester's Department of Performing Arts and will take place at Kingsway Creative Campus CH2 2LB with use of three beautiful dance studios.

The Department of Performing Arts is housed at Kingsway Creative Campus with three fully equipped, state of the art dance and performance studios. CKW005 is the main, dance studio, converted from an old gym, and has plenty of space. It has a full lighting rig, seating for 150 audience, plus a beautiful fully sprung wooden floor, and windows looking out onto trees and a green suburban landscape. The 'white box', CKW058 and the 'black box', CKW059, are additional practice spaces with fully sprung floors, and all-white/all-black interiors.
