ELASTIC CHAOS is a movement training designed for self-exploration and applied to learning the Contact Improvisation technique.

Ona Fusté and Maria Mora met sharing the Axis Syllabus study in 2009, on which part of their proposal is based.They have been studying the fascia system for 10 years, researching its qualities, functions and rhythms. Much of the proposed training seeks to reconnect with the elastic, resilient and return capacity of the fascia.

Reconnecting with the wave form (essential for any form of movement, both in micro structures - vibrations within an atom - or macro structures - the movement of water) helps us greatly reduce effort in dance and expand perception in weight-sharing dynamics.

Other important influences on the work are Osteopathy and Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy, from which, through research laboratories, somatic practices of listening to the subtle body are born to nourish the workshop with very valuable experiences.

From her experience as a professional dancers, the composition and the improvised language bring the spatial dimension and performative presence to the workshop.  

Space of turbulence between dance, movement analysis and philosophy. A studio, in continuous evolution, that seeks to expand resources for dance and Contact Improvisation.
