This class will start with a focused and at times energetic warm-up, where we will work individually and in partner tasks. Using set patterns and improvised tasks the warm-up will include explorations of movement such as folding, rolling and falling.

With a focus on the pelvis as a place of strength, but also a source of subtle, gentle movements, we will develop our dancing to find possibilities to connect, listen, move together and exchange weight.

The class is open to all levels of experience, but some movement experience is preferable (other dance forms, martial arts etc). Please contact me if you are unsure if this class is suitable for you.

3pm-5pm: CI Class with Jo Dyer

5-6pm: Jam (improvised dancing)

It is possible to just attend the jam – arrive from 4.45pm. You can buy a ticket in advance on Eventbrite or pay £5 cash on the door (if possible, please bring exact money).

The Solidarity price is to help me offer cheaper tickets for those on lower incomes. If you wish to buy a concessions ticket, this is self defined, so there is no need to offer proof of concessions status.
