The Intimacy of Belonging:
A Continuum Retreat - Deep Healing and Nourishment

From the formation of galaxies to the pulsing cells of the human body, all life forms throughout the universe have been shaped by fundamental principles of fluid movement. Our bodies are liquid crystalline structures designed to carry, receive, and transmit the vibrations of life. From the waves of the air, the vibration of sound, the rays of the sun, and the spiraling growth of plants, all exchange of information both within the body and throughout the larger universe is communicated through the universal language of movement.
 
In this workshop, we will work with the somatic practice Continuum, and investigate how our physical bodies are the emerging expression of an ancient, unified planetary process. The gift of our incarnation is that the more we develop a sensory awareness of the silent language within us, the dimensions of our life experiences expand and become fuller. Our thoughts and emotions, as well as the qualities of love and compassion begin in the depths of the body. All our responses to life ranging from the physical to the spiritual dimension enter our awareness through the body. 
 When we learn to trust and offer attention to the nature of the body as movement, we can directly experience our essential participation in the life of the planet, as well as how we dynamically and intimately belong to life. This awareness becomes a source of great sustenance, support, and renewal.
This retreat is appropriate and safe for everyone at all levels of movement capacity. No previous movement experience is required.
