These practices investigate the extravagance of contact improvisation, keeping the question and the search for what it means to dance and improvise in contact alive. It's extravagant because it always explores a unique approach and a singular materialisation of a body-in-the-now.

Rita Vilhena has been exploring contact improvisation and martial arts since the 2000s, continuing her research into how to inhabit post-contemporary dance in a common and singular space.

Practices led by Rita (and occasionally by guests) last 1.5 hours and are followed by a 1-hour jam.
