There will be early days to enjoy the joys of Brittany in the summer (beach, walking, visiting, lazing around, picnicking …), early afternoons to unfold and weave together our curiosities, afternoons to meet the universes of the invited teachers and evenings to jam happily!

It will be again this year on the commune of Trévou-Tréguignec, on the seaside. We will be welcomed in the multi-purpose hall, 10 minutes walk from the beach of Trestel and Port Le Goff and 5-10 minutes walk from various camping, motorhome area and supermarket. In short, everything will be within walking distance, if you stay in this area!…

Here is what our days will look like:

Mornings and lunches : program to be invented, but out of the studio in any case

– 1pm-3pm: This space will be dedicated to immersive, facilitated and/or self-managed labs and formats (if there is any momentum in this direction). We will question the experiences we will have gone through the day before during the workshops and jams, unfold them, articulate them with each other. We will give them time to bear fruit and to become part of our personal and collective inner landscapes. The facilitators will create a comfortable, stimulating and creative space for co-research. Everyone will be able to make their own path, follow the path of another, invent a new one together or take the time to contemplate the landscape of the moment…
– 3pm – 6pm: Workshop. Each day a pair of teachers will propose a subject to explore, in connection with the theme of the week (see below)
– 6-6:30 pm: Dyads (2x15min). Practice of listening and sharing orally and in rotating pairs, to deposit and elaborate an experience in the presence of someone else.
– 6:30 – 7:30 pm: Meal
– 7:30 – 10:30 pm: Jams
On August 20th, to give you time to arrive quietly from your distant lands, we will meet from 4:30 pm (for an opening circle at 5:30 pm) which will be followed by a time of shared meal and a jam until 10:30 pm!

THE TEAM:

Anne-Gaëlle Thiriot is a dancer, choreographer and teacher based in Marseille since late 2020, after spending 13 years in the UK. She collaborated there as a dancer and/or co-creator with many artists, companies and collectives (Exit Map and Laura Doehler, Mary Pearson, h2dance, Simonetta Alessandri, Glyndebourne Opera, Lisa-May Thomas, etc.). She graduated in contemporary dance and community dance from Trinity Laban in 2007, after a BA in Geology and four years of semi-professional activity in Italy. Her work is highly influenced by Contact Improvisation, release technique, choreology, somatic imagery, architecture, and social choreography. Enthused by the meeting of the other and its alterity in the verymany forms it takes, she currently works with Mathilde Monfreux, L’Autre Maison/ Andrew Graham, Libertivore / Fanny Soriano. With Julien Dégremont and Yasmona Lammler, she recently co-founded La Mèche, an association in Marseille, to make and tour choreographic work and to create learning opportunities at many levels, in Marseille and beyond. She is also in her fourth year of training in the Feldenkrais Method.

Astrid Lejeune hsa co-founded the « Compagnie Du Haut » with her sister in 2015: a joyful space for research and creation in which they like to take dance to places where it is not expected, blurring the boundaries between dance and everyday life. She has been involved in the practice of improvisation for about fifteen years, particularly Contact Improvisation (I. Üski, M. Gaudeau, S. Auberville, N. Stark Smith, N. Little…) which has changed her relationship to the body and movement by reshaping them from the perspective of relationship and touch. Since 2017, Astrid has been training in somatic practices (D. U. of Somatic Education Practice in Lyon 2018/ Labo du F.A.R. in Paris 2019 / S.P.P (fasciatherapy) training in Clermont Ferrand 2022). Curious about martial practices, its sensitive and chaotic spaces of struggle as well as its emotional resonances, she has been initiating herself into Systema since 2020.

Catherine Kych [FR] has been dancing for over thirty years. Classical dance is her common thread, but in search of spaces of freedom, play and sharing, she plunged into contact improvisation in 2007. She became enthusiastic about this non-normative practice that offered the possibility of meeting, first through touch and movement – and then through words – « others », and to build and deconstruct the world with them.

Along the way, she acquired different tools to deepen her dance and accompaniment practices: a training in « Dance and Movement Therapy » (with, in particular, the tools of NVC and the perceptive pedagogy of Danis Bois), the D.U. « Dance and Somatic Education » of Paris VIII, and a training in Explanatory Interviewing which proved to be the tool she lacked to accompany the putting into words of the dancers’ experience. Since then she has been an active member of GREX (www.grex2.com), a research group on explicitation founded by Pierre Vermersch. The D.U. « Medicine, Meditation and Neuroscience » in Strasbourg has more recently completed her practical and theoretical knowledge of attention – especially in meditative practices. And finally, Catherine has trained in Ericksonian hypnosis to better understand the links between imagination, perception, language and relationships, and how they influence the mechanisms of creation, learning and change.

Trained in Life Art Process in California with Anna Halprin, Céline Robineau [FR], dancer and teacher, likes to use dance movement, poetry, painting and drawing as reflections of each other. She is part of a permanent learning and research process through Contact Improvisation which she practices and teaches with joy, curiosity, fervor and rebound. She co-founded « L’Oeil et la Main », an association dedicated to the development of contact improvisation and related practices and knowledge, and organizes, among others, Contact Improvisation Meetings. Water fascinates her, she likes to lose her bearings, find new supports and relationships to the world that she transmits in workshops. She shares her dances with other beings, humans or non-humans and is particularly fond of nature as a place of resourcing and dance, alone or in workshops with others. She researches and creates forms within pluridisciplinary artist collectives on themes such as gentrification, the gesture of love in public space, inter-species communication… Currently, 2 pieces are being created, one on neoliberalism, the other, in solo, on the woman’s body.

Cancellation conditions: In case of cancellation by you until june 20th, 2023, half of the amount paid will be refunded. In case of cancellation after June 20th, 2023, no refund will be given.

An exception: in case of cancellation by you or by us for reasons related to the covid pandemic, the entire amount of the course will be returned to you, except for the 20€ registration fee, which will remain with the association.

Il y aura des débuts de journée pour profiter des joies de la Bretagne l’été (plage, balade, visite, farniente, pique-nique …), des débuts d’après-midis pour déplier et tisser ensemble nos curiosités, des après-midis pour rencontrer les univers des enseignants invités et des soirées pour jamer joyeusement!

Xe sera à nouveau cette année sur la commune de Trévou-Tréguignec, en bord de mer. Nous serons accueillis dans la salla polyvalente, à 10 minutes à pied de la plage de Trestel et de Port Le Goff et à 5-10 minutes à pied de différents camping, air de camping-cars et supérette. Bref, tout sera accessible à pied, si vous vous logez dans ce périmètre !…

Voici ce à quoi nos journées vont ressembler :

Matinées et déjeuners : programme à inventer, mais hors studio en tout cas

– de 13h à 15h : Cet espace sera dédié aux laboratoires et formats immersifs, facilités et/ou auto-gérés (si des élans émergent en ce sens). Nous y questionnerons les expériences que nous aurons traversées la veille lors des ateliers et des jams, les déplierons, les articulerons les unes avec les autres. Nous leurs laisserons le temps de porter leurs fruits et de s’intégrer à nos paysages intérieurs, personnels et collectifs. Les facilitateurs se chargeront de créer un espace de co-recherche confortable, stimulant et créatif. Chacun pourra y faire son propre chemin, suivre celui d’un autre, en inventer un nouveau ensemble ou encore prendre le temps de contempler le paysage du moment…
– 15h -18h15 : Atelier. Chaque jour un binôme d’enseignants proposera une matière à explorer, en lien avec la thématique de la semaine (cf. ci-dessous)
– 18h15 – 19h30 : Repas
– 19h30 – 22h30 : Jams
Le 20 août, pour vous laisser le temps d’arriver tranquillement de vos contrées lointaines, nous nous retrouverons à partir de 17h (pour un cercle d’ouverture à 17h30) qui sera suivi d’un temps de repas partagé et d’une jam jusqu’à 22h30!
 

L’ÉQUIPE ENSEIGNANTE: 

Anne-Gaëlle Thiriot est une danseuse chorégraphe et enseignante arrivée à Marseille depuis Octobre 2020 après 13 ans au Royaume Uni, où elle a collaboré comme danseuse et co-créatrice avec de nombreuses compagnies (Exit Map, h2dance, etc.), ainsi qu’artiste associée avec Candoco Dance Company. Elle est diplômée en danse contemporaine au conservatoire Laban (Londres) après une licence en géologie à Jussieu (Paris) et 4 ans d’activité semi-professionnelle en danse en Italie (Bologne et Vérone). Son travail est influencé par le Contact Improvisation, la technique release, la choréologie, l’imagerie somatique, l’architecture et la chorégraphie sociale.

Pleine de goût pour la rencontre avec l’autre et sa diversité, elle travaille actuellement avec Mathilde Monfreux, L’Autre Maison / Andrew Graham, Libertivore / Fanny Soriano. Elle vient de co-fonder La Mèche avec Julien Dégremont et Yasmina Lammler, qui porte projets chorégraphiques et de transmission sur Marseille et ailleurs, et elle se forme à la méthode Feldenkrais.

Bougeuse au parcours hybride, Astrid Lejeune [FR] cofonde avec sa sœur la Cie Du Haut en 2015 : un espace joyeux de recherche-création dans lequel elles aiment emmener la danse aux endroits où elle n’est pas attendue, brouillant les frontières entre geste dansé et quotidien. Elle est engagée depuis une quinzaine d’années dans la pratique de l’improvisation, particulièrement du Contact Improvisation (I. Üski, M. Gaudeau, S. Auberville, N. Stark Smith, N. Little…) qui a bouleversé son rapport au corps et au mouvement en les remodelant depuis la perspective de la relation et du toucher. Depuis 2017, Astrid se forme aux pratiques somatiques (D. U. de Pratique d’Éducation Somatique à Lyon 2018/ Labo du F.A.R. à Paris 2019 / formation en S.P.P (fasciathérapie) à Clermont Ferrand 2022). Curieuse des pratiques martiales, de ses espaces de bagarre sensible et chaotiques tout autant que de ses résonances affectives, elle s’initie au Systema depuis 2020.

Catherine Kych [FR] danse depuis plus de trente ans. La danse classique est son fil conducteur, mais à la recherche d’espaces de liberté, de jeu et de partage, elle a plongé en 2007 dans le contact improvisation. Elle s’est enthousiasmée pour cette pratique non‐normative qui offrait la possibilité de rencontrer, d’abord par le toucher et le mouvement – puis par les mots – des « autres », et de construire et déconstruire avec eux le monde.

Chemin faisant, elle s’est dotée de différents outils pour approfondir ses pratiques de danse et d’accompagnement : une formation de « Danse et Thérapie du mouvement » (avec notamment les outils de la CNV et de la pédagogie perceptive de Danis Bois), le D.U. « Danse et éducation somatique » de Paris VIII, une formation en Entretien d’Explicitation qui s’est trouvé être l’outil qui lui manquait pour accompagner la mise en mots de l’expérience des danseurs. Depuis elle est un membre actif du GREX (www.grex2.com), groupe de recherche sur l’explicitation fondé par Pierre Vermersch. Le D.U. « Médecine, méditation et neurosciences » de Strasbourg est venu plus récemment compléter ses connaissances pratiques et théoriques sur l’attention – notamment dans les pratiques méditatives. Et enfin tout dernièrement, Catherine s’est formée en hypnose ericksonienne pour tenter de mieux comprendre les liens entre imagination, perception, langage et relation, et la manière dont ils influencent les mécanismes de création, d’apprentissage et de changement.

Formée en Life Art Process en Californie auprès d’Anna Halprin, Céline Robineau [FR], danseuse et pédagogue, aime utiliser le mouvement dansé, la poésie, la peinture, le dessin comme des reflets les uns des autres. Elle s’inscrit dans un processus d’apprentissage et de recherche permanent au travers du Contact Improvisation qu’elle pratique et enseigne avec joie, curiosité, ferveur et rebonds. Elle a co-fondé “l’Oeil et la Main”, association consacrée au développement du contact improvisation et des pratiques et savoirs affiliés et organise, entre autres, des Rencontres de Contact Improvisation. L’eau la fascine, elle aime y perdre ses repères, trouver de nouveaux appuis et relation au monde qu’elle transmet dans des stages. Elle partage ses danses avec des êtres et affectionne particulièrement la nature comme lieu de ressourcement et de danse, seule ou en ateliers avec d’autres. Elle recherche et créait des formes au sein de collectifs d’artistes pluridisplinaires sur des thèmes tels que la gentrification, le geste d’amour en espace public, la communication interespèces… Actuellement, 2 pièces sont en cours de création, l’une sur le néolibéralisme, l’autre, en solo, sur le corps de la femme.

 
LA TRAVAILLEUSE DU TEXTE:

Myriam Rabah-Konaté a étudié les études africaines et les sciences sociales à Sciences Po Paris. Elle vit à Marseille, ville dans et depuis laquelle elle déploie ses projets vers d’autres horizons méditerranéens (Maroc, Turquie).

Danseuse, elle pratique le mouvement depuis sa rencontre avec la danse improvisée au Maroc en 2017 avec Lisa Dali. Elle a co-fondé en 2019 la compagnie de danse contemporaine Chôra et participé à de nombreux festivals et stages de danse professionnels à Paris, Marseille et Berlin. Elle travaille actuellement auprès de l’artiste-chorégraphe et chanteuse Dorothée Munyaneza.

Chercheuse, elle s’intéresse depuis la géographie aux corporéités marginalisées et à la possibilité de cartographies les émotions. Elle a co-écrit l’article « Ce qui nous retient de nous toucher » avec Emma Bigé dans l’ouvrage La perspective de la pomme. Histoires, politiques et pratiques du Contact Improvisation (2021). Elle développe actuellement un projet de recherche-création indépendant de « carto-chorégraphie » sur les spatialités enfantines dans les cours de récréation à Marseille et Rabat (Maroc).

Documentariste, elle a notamment réalisé le documentaire sonore Écouter la Muette, l’histoire des mémoires d’une cité de Drancy pour France Culture (2023).
