Leilani Weiss learned from almost all teachers - the first lesson - teachers of the FIRST generation, and often taught with them. It's a privilege that few people have had the privilege of experiencing. This gift, this field ..... we would now like to pass it on
Leilani Weis traveled the world for 25 years to experience and learn from each of these teachers. Some have already left us - but live on in us.....
Nancy Stark Smith .Nina Little, Keriac, David Lepkoff, Paxton, Martin Keogh.,..etc....

What are the roots of contact improvisation? what is the heart Many young bodies and also experienced dance bodies no longer know this or have never come into contact with a body, a heart or the vision of those who brought it into the world.
Have never danced a dance with one of the ANCESTORS - felt and felt him, listened to him and experienced him....

CI has also over time - diluted and mixed with many other often very beautiful and enriching movement tools and types of movement.

As innovative as that is of course, unfortunately something is often lost, which is very noticeable for those who know the original - but is not perceptible for everyone else.

Our concern is to remember and pass on the old valuable knowledge - the heart .. the source - the ROOTS of Contact Improvisation.
To dock onto this sacred field of the first hour - the field of the "ancestors" - to learn from this in order to enrich and reconnect the NEW with the "original".
The HEART and the roots... of Contact Improvisation .. deep inside to conceive, to "anticipate", to touch, to listen, to feel... . and to dance -

What is the heart of contact improvisation? And what is the root? _______________________________________________________
Leilani Weis has internalized CI like few teachers I know and has an ability to teach it in a very organic - loving and joyful way.
Her deep love for this dance and the teachers from the very beginning is palpable and visible in her movements and her wide and open heart is a real pleasure to experience in her courses.

Leilani is already very excited!!! - this project came about very spontaneously and unexpectedly - from the deep wish that the old knowledge is not lost - we don't yet know where it will lead.

Module 4 will result in 14 days of training - in Spain - Arlequi
in a place steeped in history that has served many ancient teachers,
Nancy Stark Smith in particular was at home here.

In the modules we also zomm again and again with Martin Keogh (USA), a dancer from the very beginning - to ask questions, to feel the vibration and to listen to stories that tell about the beginnings. (Martin Koegh is currently very ill and it is an honor for us that he is still with us)

Leilani Weiss hat bei so gut wie allen Lehrer der ERSTEN Generation, gelernt und oftmals auch mit Ihnen unterrichtet. Das ist ein Privileg, dass nur wenige Menschen erfahren durften. Dieses Geschenk, dieses Feld .....möchten wir nun weitergeben

Leilani Weis reiste 25 jahre lang durch die ganze Welt um Jeden dieser Lehrer zu erfahren und von diesen zu lernen. Einige sind zwar schon von uns gegangen - leben aber in uns weiter.....

Nancy Stark Smith .Nina Little, Keriac, David Lepkoff, Paxton, Martin Keogh.,..usw....

Was sind eigentlich die Wurzeln der Contact Improvistion ? Was ist das Herz? Viele Junge Körper und auch erfahrene Tanzkörper wissen das nicht mehr oder sind noch nie in Kontakt gekommen mit einem Körper , einem Herzen oder der Vision derer, die es in die Welt getragen haben.

Haben noch nie einen Tanz mit einem der AHNEN getanzt - ihn gespürt und empfunden ihm gelauscht und erlebt....

CI hat sich zudem über die Zeit - verwässert und gemischt mit vielen anderen oft sehr schönen und bereichernden Bewegungswerkzeugen und Bewegungsarten. So innovativ das natürlich ist ,leider geht eben oft auch etwas verloren, was für jene, die das Ursprüngliche kennen sehr spürbar ist - für allen anderen jedoch nicht wahrnehmbar ist.

Unser Anliegen ist es das Alte wertvolle Wissen - das Herz .. die Quelle - die WURZELN der Contact Improvisation wieder zu erinnern und weiterzugeben.

An dieses heilige Feld der ersten Stunde anzudocken - Das Feld der "Ahnen" - von diesem zu lernen um das NEUE frisch durch das "ursprüngliche" zu bereichern und wieder zu verbinden.

Das HERZ und die Wurzeln...der Contact Improvisation .. tief im inneren zu ersinnen, zu er"ahnen", zu berühren, zu lauschen, zu empfinden.. . und zu tanzen -

Was ist das Herz der Contact Improvisation? Und was ist die Wurzel? ___________________________________________________________________________________

Leilani Weis hat CI verinnerlicht wie nur wenige Lehrer die ich kenne und sie hat eine Fähigkeit es auf eine sehr organische - liebevolle und freudige Art und Weise zu vermitteln.

Ihr tiefe Liebe zu diesem Tanz und den Lehrern der ersten Stunde ist spürbar und in ihren Bewegungen sichtbar und ihr weites und offenes Herz ist eine wahre Freude in Ihren Kursen zu erleben.

Leilani ist schon sehr aufgeregt!!! - diesese Projekt ist sehr spontan und unerwartet entstanden - aus dem tiefen Wunsch dass das alte Wissen nicht verloren geht - Wir wissen noch nicht wo hin es führen wird. Das Modul 4 wird in 14 Tage Training münden - in Spanien - Arlequi

an einem geschichtsträchtigen Ort der viele alten Leher gedient hat,

insbesondere Nancy Stark Smith war hier zu Hause.

In den Mdulen zommen wir auch immer wieder mit Martin Keogh (USA), ein Tänzer der ersten Stunde - um Fragen zu stellen, die Schwingung zu spüren und Geschichten zu lauschen die von den Anfängen erzählen. (Martin Koegh ist derzeit sehr krank und es ist für uns eine Ehre dass er dennoch dabei ist )
