WORKSHOP & RESEARCH with Darshana Rosenthal

Come for the pre-jam workshop and immerse in a whole day of dancing!

We will deeply engage with the artistic, unpredictable and off-balance qualities of CI, whilst also ground in key technique so we are empowered to respond to real time information with open senses and physical intelligence!

DETAILS

Grounding play in technique:

• SOURCING SUPPORT in core architecture of self and partner 
• FALLING into the core of my partner (no lift exists without a fall)
• STABILITY = NO MOTION
• SENSORIAL STATES to stretch perceptions and open senses
• physical questioning over forms. 

Remembering artistry:

• improvisation scores and exercises in solo and duet for experimentation and authentic expression
• scores to take us into complex, spontaneous and unpredictable scenarios
• Going beyond the habit of isolated duets...into a whole group mind

PRACTICALS

When: 11am-1.30pm Mini workshop & research with Darshana

Where: bürgistrasse 15, 9620 Lichtensteig

Fee: 35-50 CHF sliding scale (pay on the day in cash)
