Contact Improvisation e Axis Syllabus

La fascia è la sostanza che collega ogni parte del nostro corpo alle altre, un sistema integrato che fornisce continuità e propone relazioni collaborative. Ci conferisce l'elasticità necessaria per l'adattabilità e la forza nella Contact Improvisation. Ontologia del caos rappresenta i percorsi infiniti e probabili che il corpo può intraprendere in ogni danza. Axis Syllabus (AS) è una piattaforma di ricerca e un approccio al movimento che offre strumenti per l'analisi e l'allenamento della locomozione umana, osservando limiti e capacità, e cercando l'efficienza durante il movimento. AS attinge i suoi strumenti da diverse discipline scientifiche come l'anatomia e la fisica applicata.

La Contact Improvisation incontra l'Axis Syllabus

Ci muoveremo, danzeremo e comunicheremo con la Contact Improvisation creando un contesto ispirato al modo in cui ci muoviamo attraverso l'Axis Syllabus e le improvvisazioni somatiche. 

Esplorando le caratteristiche e le funzioni del tessuto connettivo e degli elementi fasciali, collegheremo i nostri movimenti all'efficienza delle forze elastiche a molla. Integrando la biomeccanica e l'anatomia, apriremo profonde possibilità per il benessere nei nostri corpi e offriremo un alto grado di prevenzione degli infortuni. Esamineremo situazioni di carico al fine di costruire modelli sicuri nella Contact Improvisation.

Un allenamento mirato al network fasciale ci porterà a incarnare il movimento col suo potenziale momento per momento, spostando l'intenzione dal risultato di "una danza" e più verso il percorso e lo sviluppo di quella danza. Infine, attiveremo questi strumenti con lo scopo di danzare insieme, ascoltando i nostri corpi, improvvisando e comunicando con altri corpi e il nostro ambiente, al fine di costruire una danza che nasce nello stesso momento in cui accade.

# Bio 🧬

Ona Fustè e Maria Mora Alcolea (Spain)

Si sono conosciute condividendo lo studio dell'Axis Syllabus dal 2009 e lavorano in collaborazione dal 2018. Hanno creato Cos Fractal, dei laboratori in cui il lavoro sull'Axis Syllabus e l'Osteopatia Craniosacrale si integrano e si arricchiscono reciprocamente. Nel 2020 è nato Fascia; Tra l'ordine e il caos, dove generano pratiche intorno allo studio biomeccanico della locomozione e all'ascolto del corpo sottile, promuovendo un'attenzione globale del corpo in movimento. Attualmente continuano a collaborare nella trasmissione e nella pedagogia del movimento, oltre a esplorare il linguaggio improvvisato.

Per chi arriva in macchina 🚘 consigliamo il parcheggio Chiesa di San Giuseppe (~15 min a piedi dallo spazio). Per chi arriva in auto-treno 🚂 lo spazio è ben collegato ai mezzi pubblici (15 min) e facilmente raggiungibile a piedi (20/25 min).

# Posti letto

Per chi ne avesse bisogno saremo felici di ospitarvi ed accogliervi nelle nostre case. Se fosse necessaria ospitalità le notti del workshop (venerdì, sabato e domenica), scrivendoci una email e ricordatevi sacco a pelo, cuscino, asciugamani e ciabatte.

# Cibo

Il pranzo di sabato e domenica è condiviso. Invitiamo tutti i partecipanti, ognuno con le proprie possibilità, di portare cibi, bevande e delizie a desiderio per condividerle con il gruppo e anche di portare il proprio piatto, bicchiere e forchetta. Se ognuno di noi porta qualcosa avremo un ricco banchetto. Vi chiediamo anche di condividere le vostre intolleranze alimentari qualora ce ne fossero

# Terme terme terme

Dopo due giorni di danza, chi non vorrebbe chiudere con una serata a mollo nelle acque termali che ci circondano a pochi chilometri? Per chi vuole, organizzeremo una domenica sera alle terme (19:00 - 22:00, costo sui 22€). Per chiunque si voglia unire, ricordatevi costume, cuffia, asciugamano e ciabatte. C'è già un gruppetto pronto a convincervi, quindi siete avvisati

# Cancellazione 😿

Cosa succede se non posso partecipare ad un samurai? Nel caso in cui la cancellazione arrivi 7 giorni  prima del giorno di inizio dell'evento è possibile utilizzare l’anticipo versato per un altro samurai (fino al 31 dicembre 2024). Se non fosse entro i tempi stabiliti sopra, ti chiediamo di avvisarci quanto prima, così da permetterci di contattare chi è in lista d'attesa. Nel caso in cui non riuscissimo a coprire la tua assenza, non ci sarà possibile effettuare la restituzione dell’acconto (che verrà utilizzato per le spese di organizzazione). Questa politica vale anche per chi si iscrive ad entrambi i giorni e poi partecipa un solo giorno. Inoltre gli anticipi non sono cedibili a terzi senza previa comunicazione.

Community price, 100€. Per chi si impegna ad iscriversi a più samurai (almeno 3 nel corso della stagione) o per chi si iscrive al modulo di 4 incontri del laboratorio settimanale.
Early bird, 110€. Per chi si iscrive con un anticipo di almeno 10 giorni.
Full price, 140€. Per chi si iscrive negli ultimi 10 giorni prima dell’evento.
One day, 70€. Per chi si iscrive per un solo giorno (da verificare la possibilità con l’insegnante)

Contact Improvisation meets Axis Syllabus

Fascia is the substance that connects every part of our bodies to every other part, an integrated mega system that provides continuity and proposes collaborative relationships. It gives us the elastic quality needed for adaptability and strength of Contact Improvisation. Chaos Ontology is the infinite probable paths the body can take in each dance. Axis Syllabus (AS) is a research platform and movement approach that offers tools for the analysis and training of human locomotion, observing limits and capabilities and seeking efficiency during motion. AS draws its tools from different scientific fields such as anatomy and applied physics.

Contact Improvisation meets Axis Syllabus

We’ll move, dance, and communicate towards Contact Improvisation as we’ll be creating a context inspired by how we are moving through the Axis Syllabus and somatic improvisations. 

By exploring the characteristics and functions of connective tissue and fascial elements, we will connect our movements to the efficiency of the elastic spring forces. Integrating biomechanics and anatomy, we’ll open deep possibilities for wellbeing in our bodies and offer a high degree of injury prevention. Visiting our body design, we’ll acquire tools towards major fluidity, optimal elasticity and resilience and minor injury risk prevention. We’ll study loading situations in order to build safe patterns in Contact Improv. 

A focused training of the fascial network will lead us into an embodiment of movement anchored in moment-to-moment potential, shifting the intention away from the result of “a dance” and more toward the path and development of this dance. Finally, we will activate these tools for the sake of dancing together, listening to our bodies improvising and communicating with other bodies and our environment in order to build a dance within the unfolding moment.

# Bio 🧬

Ona Fuste and Maria Mora Alcolea (Spain)

They have known each other by sharing the Axis Syllabus study since 2009 and have been working collaboratively since 2018. They create Cos Fractal, workshops in which the work of Axis Syllabus and Craniosacral Osteopathy complement and nourish each other. In 2020 was born Fascia; Between order and chaos where they generate practices around the biomechanical locomotion study and the subtle body listening, generating a global attention to the body in movement. Currently they continue to collaborate in the transmission and pedagogy of movement as well as exploring improvised language.

# Where 🏨

For those arriving by car 🚘we recommend the parking Chiesa di San Giuseppe (~15 min walk to the space). For those arriving by car train 🚂 the space is well connected to public transport (15 min) and easily reachable on foot (20/25 min).

# Hosting 🛏️

For those who need it, we will be happy to host and welcome you in our homes. If hospitality is needed on the nights of the workshop (Friday, Saturday and Sunday), write us an email and bring your sleeping bag, pillow, towels and slippers. We will host you for free and with a lot of love. 

# Food

Lunch on Saturday and Sunday are shared. We invite all participants, each with their own possibilities, to bring food, drinks and delights as desired to share them with the group and also to bring your own plate, glass and fork. We also ask you to share your food intolerances if there are any.

# SPA SPA SPA

After two days of dancing, who wouldn't want to end with an evening soaking in the thermal waters that surround us a few kilometers away? For those who want, we will organize a Sunday evening at the spa (7.00pm - 10.00pm, priced around €20). For anyone who wants to join, bring your swimsuit, cap, towel and slippers. There is already a small group ready to convince you, so be warned.

# Cancellation policy 😿

What if I can't join a samurai? In the event that the cancellation arrives 7 days before the start day of the event, it is possible to use the advance payment for another samurai (until December 31, 2024). If it is not within the times established above, we ask you to notify us as soon as possible, so that we can contact those on the waiting list. In the event that we are unable to cover your absence, it will not be possible for us to refund the deposit (which will be used for organization costs). 

This policy also applies to those who register for both days and then participate only one day. Furthermore, advance payments cannot be transferred to third parties without prior notice.

# Prices 🤑

Community price, €100. For those who commit to signing up for more samurai (min 3 during the season) or for those who sign up for the 4-meetings module of the weekly lab.
Early birds, €110. For those who register at least 10 days in advance.
Full price, €140. For those who register in the last 10 days before the event.
One day, €70. For those who enroll for just one day (to check the possibility with the teacher)
