The ScoreJAMs are Contact Improvisation Jams, happening EVERY TUESDAY at STUDIO 58 in Neukölln from 20:00 -23:00.

The "ScoreJAM" (every first Tuesday of a month) is a specific Format, designed by Anir Leben, which provides a Warmup, followed by a division into two groups, working simultaneously in the same space prior the Jam. One group is going through some physical Contact Principles with a teacher and the other group is researching the score in a LAB, facilitated by another teacher.

The goal is to provide a space, where researching and dancing Contact Improvisation is as attractive to beginners as to advanced dancers.

19:45 - 20:00 arriving

20:00 - 20:30 Warmup whole group

20:30 - 21:15 CI Principles (beginners, repeaters)

20:30 - 21:15 LAB (advanced contacters)

21:15 - 21:30 break and Circle into the Score

21:30 - 22:45 SCORE JAM

22:45 - 23:00 Closing & Cleaning

DOOR opening times: 1. chance to enter the space 19:45 - 20:20 2. chance to enter the space 21:15 - 21:30

The contribution for this format, containing 2-3 facilitators, space, tea and snacks ranges from 10 - 25 Euro, as you can.

The "ScoreJAM (s)" is the singular version (with one facilitator) of it and also has a Score as its Framework and a Warmup into the Score prior the JAM. Happening all other Tuesdays of the months, it aims to provide a Jam Space for those dancers who are experienced in Contact Improv.

The contribution for the ScoreJAM (s) is a sliding scale 8-15 Euro, as you can. The aim for both JAMs is to create a space where we can dance in a framework that provides a specific task, that is narrow enough to give a strong container to explore and learn and on the other hand is wide enough to feel free to go for individual journeys.
