Three curated weeks of dance, study, jams, labs

Studio24 is CI gathering, it is a research, it is a study, it is a rest, it is a dance, it is a being together, it is a long jam:
From dawn to late night, two studios, a dance deck outside, a luscious forest and river, 25 to 50 people and some dedicated dancing. Workshops in the mornings, laboratories in the afternoon, spontaneous reading groups, collective writings, creation.

This “study” comes from the necessity to deeply question and situate politically our dance practice. Exchange and experiment on how life matters to dance and dance contains all the complexity of our daily being in the world.
we try to engage some critical questions and situations of our cells, bodies, societies, worlds their entanglements, their difficulties, their love, their wars, their improvisation.
We want to ask together the question of how dancing, and in particular improvising, trains us (as individuals and as parts of collectives) to be more response-able.
Each week plunges into a specific theme facilitated by a team of thinkers/movers that will bring their research, curation, care, guidance sometimes.

Practical info:
We can welcome about 40 participants. Accommodation will be available in shared rooms/dormitories as well as the camping space (or your own truck).
The price of the event includes studio space, evening classes, lodging and all the food necessary for the preparation of the meals. We will prepare the meals as a group and we will collectively take care of the life and the spaces (cleaning etc..).
Arrival on monday (late afternoon shuttle to train station)
Departure sunday (morning shuttle to train station)

Economy:
Price: General price is 48.3€- 55€ a day = 290€-330€ (sliding scale) for the week, including food, housing and access to studios (see budget below).
DOBST‧NOTAFLOF (Doing Our Best So That No One’s Turned Away For Lack of Funds): You may ask for gratuity or a reduced price (no justification needed) upon registration. If the functioning cost of the event is paid for, Larret will give away free and reduced-price spots. If you need financial help to get to Larret, please let us know.

Trois semaines de danse, d'étude, de jams et de laboratoires.

Studio24 est un rassemblement de CI, une recherche, une étude, un repos, une danse, un être ensemble, une longue jam :
De l'aube à la nuit, deux studios, une piste de danse à l'extérieur, une forêt et une rivière luxuriantes, 25 à 50 personnes et de la danse assidue. Ateliers le matin, laboratoires l'après-midi, groupes de lecture spontanés, écritures collectives, création.

Cette "étude" vient de la nécessité de questionner et de situer politiquement notre pratique de la danse. Echanger et expérimenter sur la manière dont la vie importe à la danse et dont la danse contient toute la complexité de notre être quotidien dans le monde.
Nous essayons d'aborder certaines questions et situations critiques de nos cellules, corps, sociétés, mondes, leurs enchevêtrements, leurs difficultés, leurs amours, leurs guerres, leurs improvisations.
Nous voulons poser ensemble la question de savoir comment la danse, et en particulier l'improvisation, nous prepare (en tant qu'individus et en tant que parties de collectifs) à être plus response-able (responsables/capables de repondre).
Chaque semaine plonge dans un thème spécifique facilité par une équipe de penseur.es.s/bougeu.se.r.s qui apporteront leur recherche, leur curation, leur soin, leur guidance parfois.

Nous ésperons que vous veniez pour les trois semaines (et nous vous proposerons un prix réduit), mais il est également possible de s'inscrire uniquement pour une ou deux semaines.

Informations pratiques :
Nous pouvons accueillir environ 40 participants. L'hébergement sera disponible dans des chambres/dortoirs partagés ainsi que dans l'espace de camping (ou dans votre propre camion).
Le prix de l'événement comprend l'espace studio, les cours du soir, l'hébergement et toute la nourriture nécessaire à la préparation des repas. Nous préparerons les repas en groupe et nous nous occuperons collectivement de la vie et des espaces (nettoyage etc.).
Arrivée le lundi (navette à la gare en fin d'après-midi)
Départ le dimanche (navette matinale vers la gare)

Prix : Le prix général est de 48.3€- 55€ par jour = 290€-330€ pour la semaine (prix fourchette) , incluant la nourriture, le logement et l'accès aux studios (voir le budget ci-dessous).
DOBST‧NOTAFLOF (Nous faisons de notre mieux pour que personne ne soit refusé par manque de moyens) : Vous pouvez demander un pourboire ou un prix réduit (sans justification) lors de l'inscription. Si le coût de fonctionnement de l'événement est payé, Larret attribuera des places gratuites ou à prix réduit. Si vous avez besoin d'une aide financière pour vous rendre à Larret, n'hésitez pas à nous le faire savoir.

Depuis juin 2020, Larret est un lieu de vie collective, de création et d'accueil où se développent des projets autour de la danse, de l'agriculture, de la cuisine, de la construction, de la réflexion dans leur dimension écologique. Un lieu éco-somatique pour ceux qui y vivent et ceux qui y viennent, danseurs, chercheurs, philosophes, artisans, curieux...

2900€ renting of studios & land (* the land that is hosting us was purchased in 2020 and is still under construction, and loans are still being reimbursed to banks; part of the daily price goes to this, as well as to the functioning costs for electricity, water, gas (=450€)…)
2100€ food (* including cook salaries)
1500€ logistics (* including salaries for Larret’s logistical team, emailing, etc.)
1300€ facilitation (* including salaries + transport + food for (4) facilitators)
= 7700€
This amounts to 310€/person (if 25 people register).
Brought down to a ratio per person per day, this means: approx. on average 51€/per/day, of which
20€ go to renting spaces (38%)
14€ go to food (27%)
9,5€ go to logistics (18%)
8,5€ go to facilitators (17%)
Any extra money will go to reduce the pricing or helping for transportation for those needing it.
