The driving forces behind Wellenfest are Sarah Maria Solea and Katha Löffler. Both deep divers and passionates of CI, martial arts, contemporary dance and instant composition. Embodyment and community are keywords at their festivals.

In 2020 they organized their first festival. In the 2 years following, 5 beautiful festivals happened, amongst which some in Austria.
