More Than Lifts and Partnering 
 
Contact improvisation is characterized by various dynamics and movement qualities and consists of more than just of lifts and partnering. This dance isn’t sourced merely from one’s own creativity, but from the ongoing and direct physical communication with our partner/s. Therefore, it is per se not predetermined or predictable. In this workshop, we will practice lifts and do partnering, but we’ll also be actually improvising. We’ll tackle freedom and we’ll find a mindset in which we are able to enjoy surrendering to the unknown and to the new. We’ll have a lot of fun practicing the tricks and details, and playing with all of that will take our dance to the next level!

Mehr als Lifts und Partnering 
 
Contact Improvisation wird durch verschiedenste Dynamiken und Bewegungsqualitäten geprägt und besteht aus mehr als nur aus Lifts und Partnering. Da der Tanz hier nicht in erster Linie und lediglich unserer eigenen Kreativität entspringt, sondern konstant aus unserer direkten, physischen Kommunikation mit dem/r/n Partner/in/n gespeist wird, ist er an sich nicht vorbestimmt und auch nicht vorhersehbar. In diesem Workshop werden wir nun sehr wohl Lifts und Partnering üben, aber eben auch das Improvisieren und den Umgang mit der Freiheit. Wir werden uns eine Geisteshaltung aneignen, mit der wir uns dem Unbekannten und Neuen genussvoll hingeben können. Besonders vergnüglich ist ja, dass das Ausführen der Tricks und Feinheiten bereits einen Heidenspaß macht, und das freie Spiel damit wird unseren Tanz dann auf die nächste Ebene heben!
