BERÜHRBAR
This workshop Trilogy on the intersection of Contact Improvisation and nervous system knowledge is shaped by the different qualities we move through in a learning cycle.
We begin with resourcing — connecting to our foundations, to what nourishes and supports us.
From this grounded place, we gradually invite challenge, stepping to the edges of our comfort zone and leaning into risk.
Finally, we return to a space of integration, where experiences can settle in their own rhythm, allowing for a natural reorganization of what has been touched and moved.
RESOURCES
Nourishing my Ground
To start off this Workshop Trilogy we come back to our base, our own ground. How do you re-source yourself? What gives you a sense of strength and connectedness – in your physical, emotional and mental body?
By shifting our focus to what nourishes us, we’ll dance with the question of our resources on three levels:
1) On a personal level
We foster our connection to the ground, finding our own roots to land.
We cultivate self-connection by settling into our own rhythm, supported by the rhythms that move through us – breath, expansion, and contraction.
2) On a relational level:
As mammals, we are wired for connection – some of our deepest needs can only be met in the presence of others. Through touch – one of our earliest forms of co-regulation – we enter into the shared language of Contact Improvisation.
3) On a collective level:
We resensitize ourselves to the rhythms and tides that move us all – where interbeing and interconnectedness become tangible.
By consciously working with our resources, we nourish the fertile ground from which we can move in all directions – creating the dance you long to dance, gathering strength to shape the world you want to live in.

RISK
Expanding the Comfort Zone
Once we’ve arrived in a grounded place, we begin to explore our own edge — surfing the boundaries of our personal comfort zone. By gently leaning into the unknown, we celebrate the Not Knowing as a vital ingredient of contact improvisation — the element that brings excitement and opens the door to magic.
Exploring this place where reflexes take over — where we let go of “control” and the brainstem takes over from the prefrontal cortex.
In this dance, as in life, full security does not exist.
Hence the question: How do we embrace the risk?
Let’s find our dance in this space of healthy excitement — the sweet spot between challenge and ease, where our full potential lives.
Learning to navigate uncertainty, we meet our fears with curiosity and presence, discovering what lies beyond the edges we’ve drawn.

INTEGRATION
An Intentional Space to Rest and Digest
A time for the system to settle, to allow the parts that have been moved, touched, or confronted to find their new place and form.
Integration means giving space for the system to reintegrate into a cohesive whole. Whatever has moved you can now sink in, making its way through you. Whether it’s something brought from your everyday life or themes stirred in the last workshop, this is a space to be with whatever is here in the moment.
This final gathering is inspired by the format of a facilitated long jam, immersed in nature.
There will be an ongoing Jam space for movement and dance, where your system can integrate through moving—alone or in relation.
There will be spaces of silence and spaces for exchange.
There will be intentional inputs to deepen your practice and support what is moving inside you.
There will be time for rest.
There will be writing and drawing—an invitation to reconnect with the creative creature inside you
There will be books, poetry, and written words to indulge in-
