We are excited to announce the 5th annual Contact Improvisation Dance Festival on Salt Spring Island.
This year we will be gathering for 10 days of dance with a medley of classes, jams, silent jams, music jams,
authentic relating sessions, performance night, indoor dance & nature exploration.
A place where dance, community, art, nature and self discovery all meet in a space of investigation, a time of play.

FOOD
All food is included in the tuition. We source from local and organic foods as much as possible. Meals are wholesome, diverse, fresh, yummy, abundant and are accompanied by a salivating live presentation by Tanner Graburn, our delightful Chef.
Note that a minimal amount of meals won´t be provided and will instead be potlucks and such. Schedule tba.

DANCE HALL
Fulford Hall as a very beautiful wooden dance floor with ample of space for nearly 100 dancers. There are cozy corner to rest and a mezzanine to watch from. Behind the hall is a small forested area and 5 min walk will take you to the beach and a park, 5 min drive will take you to Burgoyne Bay. The hall is 13 min drive from Ganges and 3 from Fulford Ferry Terminal.

ACCOMMODATION
We aim at finding camping or accommodation to everyone. With the nature of this island being quite competitive on housing and rentals, most options will be between , 5$ for camping at Ruckle Park, $10-$15 for camping on farms and $30-$40 per night for rentals. Tell us asap if want a rental and we can help finding others to pair you with.

We have them accessible for you to sell your artful goods. Bring em along! Set your price and manage them. A great way to cut your cost while sharing what you make and find beautiful.

SCHEDULE
Schedule will be posted soon. Most days will be from breakfast until mid-evening. Some mornings will be open and some nights will go late.

ARRIVAL
Arrival days are the 19th, 23rd & 24th.
Minimum of 5 days attendance.
You can arrive any day until the 24th if you stay until the end.
There will be a couple jams open to the public.

COST
Sliding Scale: Pay low scale if you are Economically deprived, students and underemployed. Pay mid scale if you are Economically challenged: artists, farmers etc.. Pay upper scale if you are Professional rate: Happily sustained, supports the art.

Whole Festival: $680 to $780 to $880
5 days: $420 to $520
6 days: $500 to $600

Volunteers: We have a few spots in exchange for part of the tuition.
Scholarship: We have a few scholarship to offer to full time dancer and dance students only. Please message us for details.
