Art of Improvisation Residency provides extended intensives with Indian and international teachers, who share different and uniquely individual approaches towards the art of Contact Improvisation and movement improvisation practices. Art of Improvisation Residency is dedicated to rooting the CI practice in the fundamentals established by the first generation instigators of CI, while at the same time giving space to the imagination of alternate outcomes by engaging in other movement improvisation disciplines. The program includes sessions led by Residency facilitators, laboratories, open space, and regular evening jams organized by the local CI community.
