In this Contact Improvisation intensive we will research the meaning of the concept of -Dancing all relationships-

The best way to learn from conflict is to create
dialogue. Dialogue is the means by which we can learn how conflict impacts us, investigate what this word means in relation to our history and our culture, what conflict means in relation to the politics that are imposed on us and that have an impact on how we live and think.

Contact improvisation is a practice in which dialogue is one of the engines of research, and we will approach CI as the dance of all relationships.

Contact improvisation will be the instrument of
our research. We will immerse ourselves in
dance investigating conflicts, resistances and
divergences. We will see together how living and experiencing these concepts through the body and dance can lead us to places of growth, in which conflict can become an additional space to know ourselves our habits our space for shaping changes, and where divergence can became a sudden change of perspective, opening us to small and large revolutions and evolutions.

We will research through CI drawing on practices such as Lisa Nelson's Tuning Score and Steve Paxton's Material for the Spine.

We will explore dance as a place to cultivate new individual and collective awareness, practicing consent and empathic communication.
