Ezra is a dancer, CI teacher, and Professor of Movement at California State University Long Beach. Meditation, Aikido, and acrobatics all work their way into his experiences and curiosity of CI. He has been fortunate to learn from and with many wonderful teachers including Nancy Stark Smith, Ray Chung, Rebecca Bryant, Andrew Harwood, Mike Vargas, Ishmael Houston Jones, Shel Wagner Rosh, and so many more. He has been invited as a teacher at International Contact Festival Freiburg, WCCI Jam, SFDI, Warsaw Flow, and to offer workshops from Melbourne to Athens to Cagliari to Santa Monica, where he often teaches at the local jam. His research asks the question if we can fly and fall and land without noticing much, and always asking about moments (also years) of crisis. His interests also extend to post modern dance, physical theatre performance, and tea.
