A dance workshop for curious movers looking to learn the primary pathways in Contact Improvisation, from it's traditional roots of the practice. Aalia has over 5 years teaching CI in Bali, Thailand, and Canada, beginning at Edam Dance Company.

If you are brand new to Contact and interested in trying it out this Fall, our September Fundamentals Workshop is the place to start! This workshop introduces Contact Improvisation basics, providing you with the fundamentals to begin your practice.

Join us to soften into touch, playfulness, partnerwork, and somatic practices. We will flow through basics of floorwork, low acrobatic skills, fundamentals of falling, counterbalance, and more! Ideal for anyone brand new to CI.

This will be our 38thsedition of Momentum - hundreds of dancers have learned with us since 2020.
