Salvo Shankar Vaccaro is a physical education teacher, movement artist, and facilitator of psychosomatic mindfulness. He is currently completing his training as a somatic movement educator at the Spanish school of Body-Mind Centering.
His personal path has led him beyond traditional academic training (degree in Movement Sciences) into a deep exploration of disciplines such as yoga, capoeira, acrobatics, and in recent years, contemporary dance, contact improvisation, and acrodance.
Salvo approaches movement as a living research — blending knowledge from diverse practices to create a personal, embodied, and conscious way of moving. His work supports others in reconnecting with their inner essence through presence, play, and somatic awareness.
