Sensing space - Shaping space

Workshop
17 nov 2024
17 nov 2024 @ 11.30 am 6.00 pm
Al Nour - Blekerstraat 17, Groningen, Netherlands - Show map

Let’s explore space as an invitation to move! In this investigative contact improvisation workshop, we will research the space in our inner bodily structure, open up our senses, and expand into the three-dimensional space we move into. From there we will shape a shared space where our dancing and moving can relate physically. Sensing and listening to each other, finding pathways into a physical dialogue, finding the spaces in between, flowing in and out of touch, and relating to the space both inside and outside our own bodies.

Please note
The workshop is suitable for all levels of CI experience, including complete beginners and movers from different disciplines. Diversity and minorities are encouraged.

We will close the workshop with a potluck, exchanging our experiences and sharing food. Feel free to bring what you wish to share with your fellow movers! Tea and some snacks are provided.
