We would like to invite you to the first Dolomite Flow Mini-CI Festival in Lichtenstern am Ritten in beautiful South Tyrol. Contact Improvisation, Authentic Relating & Bodywork will lead you into various forms of embodied connection: with yourself, with others & with the surrounding nature. All this situated in a self-catering house in Lichtenstern with a view of the amazing Dolomites. As the custom of "Törggelen" is celebrated in South Tyrol in the fall, we would like to let you take part and serve you South Tyrolean fall dishes.
We are super happy to have two wonderful CI Facilitators on board. Kira Kirsch is internationally active and brings her profound knowledge of Axis Syllabus to the Intensive. Cecilia Nesler is currently involved in the development of the South Tyrolean Contact Impro community.
We are also very proud to be one of the first CI events to offer Authentic Relating as an extended verbal connection tool. Alex Schallhammer and myself will bring our passion for this practice to the festival.
The festival starts on Sunday, October 26 at 2 pm and ends on Wednesday, October 29 at 4 pm. It takes place in cooperation with contactus.salzburg.

CI Intensive with Kira Kirsch
"Touch Membranes": Axis Syllabus & Somatics into Contact

The body is your personal harbor of sensual perception. Infinite layers of skin, fascia membranes, fluids and different tissue compositions envelop and weave through the body. They are highly sensitive and malleable interfaces to the worlds outside ourselves and the worlds within us. Through various impulses, they help us to understand our relationships between our own body and all other living beings and objects with which we are connected and from which we are simultaneously different, with ever-deepening sensitivity. Through touch in movement and sensory awareness, we will communicate, attune and expand our understanding of our own bodies to the environment and to each other. We will work on presence and technique that allows the organism to respond more consciously while exploring the beauty of the unknown, which is at the heart of improvisation. My work is informed by Axis Syllabus*, Moving Alchemy* and biodynamic craniosacral therapy. We will engage in detailed movement research, small repeatable movement patterns through to large scale movement through space both solo and in contact. I invite you to dances that touch multiple dimensions.

CI workshop with Cecilia Nesler
"In the Dialog of Bodies":Softness, Strength and Presence

The workshop invites us to explore body awareness as a balance between elasticity and stability. We will discover how a relaxed and centered body can become an authentic and powerful means of expression in dance.
Through the practice of Contact Improvisation (CI) we will delve into the relationship between body, movement, space, gravity and other dancers. We will learn to trust the flow of movement and embrace the unpredictability of dance with gentleness and stability, grounding ourselves in the present and making every gesture an open and honest response to life.
The practice of presence and awareness sharpens our ability to listen and helps us to cultivate deeper relationships with ourselves, others and our environment. In an ever-changing world, developing this sensitivity allows us to experience change with greater awareness, adaptability and authenticity.

Authentic Relating with Birgit Krejci & Alex Schallhammer
"Spoken Truth, Embodied Hearing and Thought Responsibility"

Authentic Relating is a transformative practice that aims to deepen relationships and create real connections between people. To do this, we first reconnect with ourselves in our bodies in order to be able to enter into a genuine connection with others. We become increasingly aware of any physical reaction to thoughts, feelings and what we hear.
Authentic Relating consists of showing ourselves honestly and transparently and allowing others to hear and understand our own inner world at a level that is right for us. Acknowledging that the other person has an equally diverse world of thoughts creates the opportunity to view these experiences together. Authentic Relating focuses on the now moment and invites us to let go of social restrictions. Practitioners are invited to surrender to and trust the unknown and the aliveness of the moment as in a dance improvisation, which can lead to deep intimacy and a greater sense of aliveness.
We will introduce different Authentic Relating Games and practice them in pairs, small or larger groups. Authentic Relating Games are an invitation to look at the world with open eyes and an open heart. They offer a playful opportunity to step out of your communication comfort zone and build deep relationships with other people in a surprisingly easy and joyful way.
