Sarah Sea Clarke

Sarah Sea is a multi-disciplinary Artist who works with movement, film and facilitation. She is a certified Facilitator of Joanna Macy’s the Work That Reconnects Network (USA), a Movement Pedagogue of The Holistic Dance Institute (Austria) and holds a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in Professional Broadcasting from Sussex University (UK). 


Sarah has shared her programme and research Embodied Practices for Collective and Self Wellbeing at Innsbruck University’s Peace & Conflict MA program as well as Embodied Activism for Tipping Points: Skills and Methoden für Soziale Bewegungen (Vienna),  a lead researcher and co-founder of the ISSC (Institute for the Study of Somatic Communication) Vienna CoLab, based at die Angewandte (University of Applied Arts, Vienna) and a co-host of WUK Contact Improvisation Jam Vienna. 


Currently Sarah offers The Making of Sense of/for C.I - cultivating senses into dance workshops, Feet Up Head Down - a capoeira roots into C.I. one-day workshop, Morning Glory - a weekly 8 am dance party, that also tours, and IOM Somatisches Tanztraining courses. 


Originating from the British Isles, Sarah has lived and worked internationally since 2008, the red thread of her work is weaving the inner with outer, drawing on the felt sense of the bodymind to bring about movement within the individual and the collective.
