Thalia Laric is a dancer and Contact Improvisation teacher from Cape Town. She has been dancing and teaching CI for over 12 years in both Europe and South Africa. She has traveled extensively to CI festivals and studied with Nancy Stark Smith, Kirstie Simson, Lucia Walker and Jori Snell, amongst many other influential teachers.

She holds a Masters degree in Choreography and performs both locally and abroad. She has worked professionally with various theatre companies and hascreated several dance platforms including MusicDance Cape Town. Thalia is also a teacher-in-training of Skinner Releasing Technique, which has a great influence on her dancing and teaching.

Thalia teaches regular CI classes in Cape Town and is dedicated to nurturing the development of the practice in South Africa.
