This workshop is an invitation to explore a world where bodies, matter and spaces buzz with vitality, weaving stories of interconnection and transformation. This week-long journey invites us to explore the poetry of movement, touch and materiality through improvised dance, somatics and the art of animating the inanimate. We'll immerse ourselves in the invisible energies that bind us to the world around us. Together, we'll open up fields of experience - vibratory fields of resonance, altering our perception and imagination of matter, of ourselves, and of our collective arrangements and assemblages.

For this first journey, the earth will be our support and partner.

As both stable and shifting ground, the earth invites us to find balance in movement. As the source of life, it already abounds in multiplicity, resonating with the dance of human and non-human agencies. It will shape us as much as we shape it - malleable as clay, heavy as stone, porous as dry soil, fluid as mud. We'll explore earth as a second skin, a surface for contact and exchange, a presence that invites us to reconsider our relationship with and through materiality. How can we move with matter rather than through it? How can we let it permeate and transform us? How do we reveal new corporealities that are both intimate and collective? Every gesture, every touch, has the potential to awaken the complex, vibrant weave of existence, revealing that we are not just in space but of space, not just with matter but of matter, both singularities and multiplicities.

Sessions in improvisation, somatics, writing and drawing, performance...

We'll take advantage of the setting to invite us to explore fields of experience aimed at altering our states. We'll play with temporalities, invoking extra-ordinary time-spaces both on our own and as a group.

Days will be shaped by lengthy experiments involving the alteration of our senses, (working blind or in silence), working sessions at unusual times, blurring the boundaries between everyday spaces/times and dance times/spaces...).
