Holistic Dance is an invitation to transformation through dance, movement and touch. We work with a dynamic, cross-method approach from dance pedagogical, dance- and body therapeutic, systemic and holistic methods. Authentic Movement Plus, Contact Improvisation, Somatics & Applied Anatomy, Contemporary Dance Improvisation, Ecosomatics and many other elements can be found in this approach.

Authentically Intimate:

An exploration through dance, movement and touch focusing on internal and external factors that allow for intimacy to arise, stay and show in dance and daily life. What conditions can we create as dancers for ourselves and others to open the doors of honesty, courage and expressivity? What is needed in order to create safe and explorative containers? How can my dance, my artistry, my resourcefulness, my style, my candor, my performance quality be influenced by this quality of intimacy?

We will work with and deepen research material from Contact Improvisation, Contemporary Dance Improvisation Authentic Movement, Somatics, Applied Anatomy, composition, scientific texts, and creative writing.

• Intimacy with self, place, and other
• The relationship between sensuality-sexuality in the dance context
• Performance as act of radical Intimacy
• The intimacy of acrobatics
• Riding the tiger – surrendering to the ecstatic dance

We will create an intimate new years eve ritual with open fire and meditative practices together.

This seminar is open to everyone with basic experiences in movement, dance and/or bodywork. This module is also a part of the Advanced Teachers Training (Module Intimacy).

There is a large terrace on site, campfire, a Swedish stove in the main house, a sauna, a pond and the possibility of ice bathing as well as almost always a clear starry sky (a perfect way to start the new year).

Accommodation and meals are to be paid separately:
- Food: there is catering for lunch for approx. € 15 per person
Breakfast and dinner are organised and paid for jointly.

- Overnight stay: there are various accommodation options (tent, garden hut, shared room, double room, single room) on site at the seminar centre.
